BUD’S FLOWERS is a non-governmental organization. which aims to promote and defend human rights.
As part of its humanitarian mission and commitment to supporting the most vulnerable groups, Asociația Bud’s Flowers continued throughout 2025 to implement its charitable projects and provide specialized consultations in the field of social care within Romania. The organization targeted refugee and non-refugee families facing difficult financial and social circumstances, in line with humanitarian principles based on neutrality, transparency, non-discrimination, and respect for human dignity.
In all its activities, the organization was keen to adopt clear standards based on individual assessments of the actual needs of each case, ensuring that assistance reached its rightful beneficiaries in a fair and effective manner. This approach contributed to achieving social justice, strengthening mutual trust between the organization and the local community, and creating a sustainable positive impact on the lives of beneficiaries.
During 2025, the organization provided a wide range of humanitarian assistance, including food supplies, clothing and footwear for all age groups according to the needs of each family and individual, as well as household items within available resources. Infant formula and diapers were also distributed. In addition, financial assistance was provided to cover housing rent for some families, purchase medications, or support emergency cases.
Special attention was given to the most vulnerable groups, particularly children, women, the elderly, and persons with disabilities, taking into account their health and social conditions.
In the field of education and capacity building, the organization worked to develop beneficiaries’ skills and enhance their integration opportunities by organizing Romanian language courses. These courses enabled many beneficiaries to enroll in public universities and continue their academic journeys, particularly in medicine and other fields of study.
The organization also organized preparatory courses for the Romanian citizenship examination, contributing to greater legal and social stability for beneficiaries and facilitating their positive integration into Romanian society.
As part of the gradual transition from emergency assistance to empowerment programs, the organization played an active role in labor market mediation. It successfully assisted many unemployed individuals in securing jobs within Romanian companies, helping them achieve financial independence, improve their living standards, enhance self-reliance, and attain long-term livelihood stability.
In the field of legal and administrative consultations, the organization provided daily specialized consultations covering residency, employment, education, family reunification, and various official procedures, tailored to each individual’s situation. This contributed to raising legal awareness among beneficiaries and enabling them to independently complete their procedures with governmental institutions.
These services benefited both refugees and non-refugees legally residing in Romania, as well as individuals residing outside the country.
The organization’s activities contributed to strengthening social solidarity and peaceful coexistence among different nationalities and cultures by providing a supportive environment that encourages cooperation and positive integration. This had a tangible impact on the psychological and social stability of beneficiaries.
The organization also expanded its network of cooperation and partnerships with local institutions, supporting entities, and civil society members, enhancing the efficiency of responses to growing needs and expanding the reach of beneficiaries.
To improve service quality, the organization focused on building the capacities of its staff and volunteers through continuous training and knowledge exchange, ensuring the delivery of professional humanitarian services aligned with Romanian laws and international humanitarian and social work standards.
The organization also continues to conduct periodic evaluations to measure the social impact of its activities and relies on beneficiaries’ feedback to develop its programs, ensuring continuous improvement and responsiveness to evolving community needs.
During 2025, Asociația Bud’s Flowers assisted approximately 450 families and more than 8,000 beneficiaries, including adults and children, of various nationalities such as: Syria, Palestine, Iraq, Yemen, Sudan, Bangladesh, Azerbaijan, and Egypt.
These achievements are the result of constructive cooperation between the organization’s management, staff, and volunteers, as well as community partnerships and supporters who believed in the organization’s humanitarian mission.
The management of Asociația Bud’s Flowers extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to all generous donors and volunteers whose continuous support and efforts played a vital role in sustaining these activities and achieving their humanitarian goals. May God bless your generosity and reward you abundantly for your good deeds.
